Google AdSense Affiliates
Google AdSense is an affiliate program run by Google that gives website publishers in the Google Network the ability to serve text, images, video, or interactive media advertisements targeted to the website content and audience. The advertisements are administered, sorted, and maintained by Google.
Google AdSense can be a profitable revenue stream for websites and many of our clients use AdSense as a secondary income source.
If you already have a Google AdSense account with listings on another website all you need to do is add your MarketGrabber site to your account and enter your code through the back-office admin display advertising section. There are many options regarding placement, our recommendation is to only enter one location and experiment a bit.
If you are new to AdSense, certain requirements should be met before applying for an AdSense account with Google:
1. Your website should have enough original content that is valuable to users. Google has strict guidelines about the quality of content that is allowed to display ads, so make sure your site meets these standards before applying. We recommend your site be up and running for several months, that you use the articles add-on to provide relevant content to your visitors, and you have listings on your site with a decent amount of daily traffic. Social media is an important tool for sharing content with potential site visitors.
2. Your site must comply with Google's AdSense policies, which include things like not clicking on your ads and not using deceptive tactics to generate clicks. This cannot be stressed enough, do not click on your ads, and make sure employees or contractors are aware of these rules.
3. You'll also need to have your privacy policy and terms of service updated on your site; this can be done through the back-office admin under page content. We have provided an initial template that needs to be updated for your business. This is to ensure that your users understand how their data is being used and what your website is all about.
If your site meets these requirements, you can apply for an AdSense account and if approved start displaying ads on your site. However, keep in mind that it can take some time to get approved, so be patient and make sure you're following all of Google's guidelines.
